It’s our first major rainy day of the season, and we have mixed feelings about it:
***
raincoat: Janie & Jack (It was Otis’s from a million years ago!)
leggings: Tea
rainboots: from Taiwan

We had our annual preschool camping trip this weekend, and yet AGAIN I did not sleep there, though I did (pretend to) think about it for a while. Am I going to scar my children if their childhoods are not filled with idyllic camping trips? I mean, I’m all for lovely hikes and all, but I would much prefer to sleep in the comfort of, say, a four-star hotel.

haha im pretty sure my mother never ever camped with us. i have recollections of camping in the woods neighboring our home with dad maybe, and then again as teenagers in the woods with beer (oi)… and we did “camping” at the girl scout camp with cots (only slightly better than a sleeping bag), and when i say “we,” i still don’t mean mom. your kids will be just fine.
