One thing I never really anticipated when I started my business was the amount of time I would spend doing everything but making and designing my products. Unfortunately, the unromantic reality has been that there’s a lot of other stuff that takes up my time, and I’ve had to teach myself some new skill sets. Taking decent photographs is something I’ve spent a lot of time working on. There’s been a lot of trial and error, figuring out how to get the effects I like, and though I still have so much to learn, I was happy when I was finally able to come up with a set of photos that I liked.
Now I’m always on the lookout for great photos that inspire me, and I found the motherlode recently when I checked out the Spring 2011 Lookbook from Opus, an adorable clothing line for babies. Check out these genius photos:
Babies? In WIGS? Wearing cute clothes and making hilarious faces? You can see why I love these photos so much, right? I sense a kindred spirit here. I still chuckle every time I revisit these photos.
