I recently saw this dress:
Loose, easy, cool – just up my alley, and perfect for July in Taiwan. And it looked easy enough for me to try at home. So I bought some fabric and look what happened:
As I was finishing the dress, I looked at the scraps on the floor and sweet rays of inspiration shone upon me:
Oh my, a mini me! And perfect since it’s still the Kids Clothing Week Challenge. And since I was on a roll, I made this:
Insane! But then by this time, I only had a small scrap of fabric left:

Ah, much better. Don’t you think I should take our show on the road?
Actually, probably not since a couple of people walked by while we were taking pictures, and I felt positively mortified.
Love them! They do look cool – perhaps you could wear them on the plane – that would cause a stir!
