goodbye

17 Oct

rainy day

Today was the first cold, dreary day we’ve had in some time, and the kids refused to get out of their pajamas all morning. Which is a rather fitting mood for saying goodbye to my grandfather, who just passed away tonight.

I’m really glad that we went back to Taiwan this summer and had the chance to see him one last time. I will miss him.

Mimi, I’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather’s death. Your photos are a fitting memorial to him, and seeing him with your children is something that will keep him alive for all of you in years to come. Please accept our hugs as we will be thinking of you and your family during the days to come. Love, Deb and Barry

I am sorry to hear about your grandfather. I am glad that your family could see him last summer. Did you tell me that he had told Otis was going to be genius and skip the grade? Otis is genius. He must be so happy to see your kids grow up healthy.
