This outfit started out as a yoga-inspired outfit, but then after I dressed her, I realized it had more of a Native American groove going on, so we’re going with Pocahontas today. I’m open to suggestions, though, for how to make that jumper into a more yoga-ish outfit. Anyone?
I believe that we dress our kids the way we dress ourselves. That’s why I’m always hearing parents wistfully muttering, “I wish they made this in my size!” (As an aside, while I was in a fancy baby shop in Soho, I heard a mother say this out loud and then watch her contemplate buying a shorts jumpsuit sized for a 14 year old. She wisely passed when she realized that it would give her the cameltoe of a lifetime. Yikes!) I’ve always known this is true of myself as well, but it became painfully obvious this past week when I did this purely by accident:
F says that all I need is a pair of Keds. I would find it a bit sad if it weren’t so hilarious.
