Tell me why I’m willingly putting her in hot pink accessories when she still doesn’t care about pink yet. I even braided some pink fabric scraps into her hair.
This week has been really wonderful, I must say. I mentioned before that I was feeling so burnt out before my trip, and it was really true. I had gotten to the point where it was becoming difficult for me to enjoy my children, even during the times when they were pretty darned adorable, and Otis and I were dueling constantly. Every evening was spent agonizing over my parenting decisions. So it was been a happy change to feel a lot of joy and to approach some of daily challenges with perspective, and to remember that my kids are pretty great after all.

I love the yellow wellies! My friend’s little boy had his blue and white stripey ones on today when we were at the beach.
I am looking forward to hearing about your trip to NYC – I love NYC…..and I am glad that your batteries are re-charged…..everyone needs some time away from their kids now and again…..
Glad the trip was what you needed!
Bea is rocking the stripes! Such a little cutie.
